Incredible must-read book for anyone genuinely serious about taking care of his/her family and loved ones—or considering entering the life insurance industry for that matter!! Bertrang shares unique true stories that demonstrate the versatility and advantages of owning a properly designed whole life insurance policy—as they applied in actual events and not just the theory. Unlike other excellent books on whole life insurance (like those written by Nelson Nash and by Kim D. H. Butler) that do an amazing job of educating the reader on the subject, this book pulls the reader in at a much more personal and relatable level. It still educates the reader, but via a different angle. Well written! I highly recommend and enjoyed the audiobook, which Bertrang narrated himself. The tone and tempo of his voice was perfect. Warning: if you will be driving while listening to this book, be aware that there may be times when your eyes may fill with tears. Again, awesome book! Highly recommend!Product details

Mark Bertrang is a master storyteller! I write about finances and life insurance myself, and I learned some new things from this book. But much more than that, I laughed and cried and really ENJOYED this book! You learn how to apply financial principles and products to your life through the touching and (warning) sometimes heartbreaking real life stories Mark shares. Unique and highly recommended.
I especially recommend listening to the book on audible. Mark was a radio guy before he got into life insurance, and he narrates this book like the pro he is. The book has heart as well as many financial tips, examples and metaphors that will help you understand whole life insurance and it’s value.
Love this book. It is well written and discusses life insurance that anyone can understand. Mark did an amazing job. Do yourself a favor and read this book- you will not regret it!
I received this book on Sunday and couldn't put it down until I finished it. It was bittersweet and very well written. I have a much better understanding about life insurance and how important it is to provide your family with the financial stability when they need it the most..
So glad I purchased this book. What a great way to share the importance of life insurance, how it affects us down the road and the many choices we have. All this without it being dull or feeling like I was in, "Life Insurance 101." I am buying a copy for both of my children who are in their 20's and may not understand why you need to think ahead. What I enjoyed most about the book is how the stories touched the heart and soul of why we take care of our loved ones while we can.

I purchased this book as it was written by a son of my dear friends, Myron and Marlene Bertrang. I coudn't put it down.
It is well written and make sure you have a highlighter pen handy as there are words of wisdom to remember. What a great gift for a young couple just starting out and also young families. I am a senior citizen and found many points of interest which are beneficial for me. Such an easy read. I especially enjoyed Mark's interest stories.
I’ve long understood the NUMBERS of life insurance; this book speaks to the HEART. version includes half a dozen significant and annoying textual errors (two or more paragraphs completely mixed up and words missing so you have no idea what the author intended to say. . . . Skip over a paragraph or two, and you’ll pick up the trajectory soon enough. Despite those frustrations, the rest of the book is well worth reading if you want to know what life insurance is all about.
